The HERTEL 750151 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal, composites, and hard materials. With a 5/64-inch cutting diameter, 4-flute geometry, and a 30-degree helix angle, this tool delivers clean, accurate cuts in tight-tolerance applications. The single-end, center-cutting design allows for both plunge and side milling. At 1-1/2 inches overall length with a 1/8-inch shank diameter, it fits standard collet toolholders used in CNC machining centers and manual mills. Machinists and tooling technicians working in job shops, production environments, or maintenance machining will find this end mill suited for fine-feature work and small-bore slotting.
This end mill is suited for applications requiring small-diameter, high-precision cutting. The uncoated solid carbide construction makes it appropriate for dry or lubricated cutting in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The right-hand cut, right-hand spiral flute configuration is standard for conventional CNC and manual milling setups. A 1/4-inch length of cut supports shallow slotting, profiling, and pocket milling in small-scale workpieces.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines equipped with standard 1/8-inch collet toolholders. Suitable as an OEM-style replacement or supplemental tooling in production and job-shop milling setups requiring small-diameter square end mills.
Installation and tooling changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked-out state per OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Secure the shank fully within the collet to the recommended grip length before tightening. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as carbide tools are brittle and can fail if run with pre-existing edge damage. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines for speed and feed settings appropriate to the workpiece material and depth of cut.
