The HERTEL 750132 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal cutting and machining applications. It features a 1 inch diameter cutting head with four flutes and a 30-degree helix angle, delivering efficient chip evacuation and a clean cut profile. The bright, uncoated finish preserves dimensional accuracy straight from the grind. With a 2.25 inch length of cut and a 5 inch overall length, this tool handles both shallow and moderately deep pockets, slots, and peripheral milling passes. Micrograin carbide construction provides hardness and wear resistance well-suited to ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. This is a single-end, right-hand cutting, right-hand spiral tool and is centercutting capable, allowing plunge entry.
This end mill is used in vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers, knee mills, and manual milling machines where a full 1 inch diameter square profile is required. Typical applications include slotting, profiling, facing, and pocket milling in production and job-shop environments. It is sized for work on steel, aluminum, cast iron, and similar materials where solid carbide tooling is preferred over high-speed steel for improved tool life and surface finish. The 1 inch shank diameter seats directly into standard ER or end mill holders with matching bore sizes.
Designed for use in standard CNC and manual milling setups that accept a 1 inch shank diameter. Compatible with ER32, ER40, and similarly sized end mill holders or collet chucks with a 1 inch bore. Part of the HSQSC4-CC series.
Installation is performed by a machinist or tooling technician. The shank must be clean and free of chips or burrs before seating in the holder. De-energize the spindle and confirm the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and depth of cut being used.
