The HERTEL 750131 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining environments. Built from micrograin carbide, it delivers a 0.75 inch cutting diameter with a 2.25 inch length of cut and a 5 inch overall length. The four-flute, spiral geometry with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. The bright uncoated finish is suited for applications where coating interaction with the workpiece or cutting fluid is a concern. This tool is installed and used by machinists and CNC operators working with ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
The HERTEL 750131 is intended for general-purpose and production milling applications in machine shops, toolrooms, and manufacturing facilities. Its centercutting capability allows both plunge and peripheral cutting operations, making it versatile for slotting, profiling, and pocketing. The single-end design is standard for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines using 3/4 inch collets or end mill holders. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration is compatible with standard spindle rotation on conventional vertical and horizontal milling setups.
Designed as a standard 3/4 inch shank square end mill compatible with 3/4 inch collet chucks, end mill holders, and hydraulic toolholders used on CNC machining centers and conventional milling machines. Part of the HSQSC4-CC series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before loading or changing the tool. Seat the shank fully in the toolholder to the recommended engagement depth and torque set screws or clamp the collet nut per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before production use to avoid premature tool wear or dimensional error.
