The HERTEL 750068 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in tight tolerances and small-feature work. With a 1/32 inch (0.0313 inch decimal) mill diameter and a 1/16 inch length of cut, this tool is built for micro-milling applications where accuracy and rigidity are critical. Stub-length geometry keeps deflection minimal at this scale. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation while maintaining a smooth cutting action. Machined from micrograin solid carbide, it offers the hardness and wear resistance required for cutting ferrous and non-ferrous materials. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working on CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is suited for small-slot milling, contouring, and fine detail work in mold making, die work, prototype machining, and precision component manufacturing. Its stub-length design limits overhang and improves stability in high-speed spindle applications. The 1/8 inch shank diameter fits standard collets and end mill holders commonly found in benchtop and full-size CNC milling setups. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with standard spindle rotation. No coating is applied, keeping the tool profile true to ground dimensions for applications where coating thickness could affect fit or finish.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use tool for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines equipped with 1/8 inch collets or end mill holders accepting a 0.125 inch shank diameter.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with CNC or manual milling equipment. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before mounting or removing the end mill. Seat the shank fully in the collet or tool holder and torque to the holder manufacturer's specification. At 1/32 inch diameter, feed rates and depth of cut must be carefully controlled to avoid tool breakage — follow the tooling manufacturer's recommended cutting parameters for the workpiece material.
