The HERTEL 750036 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metal, composite, and plastic workpieces. It features a 9/64 inch (0.1406 inch) cutting diameter with four spiral flutes and a 30-degree helix angle, delivering efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The uncoated carbide construction provides rigidity and wear resistance suited to fine-detail work and tight-tolerance slots, pockets, and profile cuts. With a 9/16 inch length of cut and a 3/16 inch shank diameter, this end mill fits standard collets and tool holders in CNC machining centers and manual mills. Licensed machinists and tool-and-die technicians are the primary users of this tooling.
The 750036 is suited to light-to-medium material removal in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, engineering plastics, and composite materials. Its centercutting geometry allows plunge entry into a workpiece surface, making it practical for full-depth pocket milling without a pre-drilled entry hole. The compact 2 inch overall length and small diameter make it especially well-matched for fine detail work, prototype machining, and toolroom applications where precision and rigidity are critical. Right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration is standard for conventional vertical spindle machines.
Designed as a standard square end mill for use in CNC machining centers, knee mills, and toolroom milling machines equipped with collets or end mill holders accepting a 3/16 inch shank diameter.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Always power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully in the collet or tool holder to the recommended grip depth and torque the retention hardware per the machine tool manufacturer specifications. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, as carbide tooling is brittle and should not be used if the edge is compromised.
