The HERTEL 750000 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With a 1/16 inch cutting diameter and three flutes, it delivers clean, accurate cuts in tight geometries where larger tooling cannot reach. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduces cutting forces. The uncoated micrograin carbide construction provides the rigidity and edge retention needed for small-diameter work in dies, molds, and detailed machining operations. It is a centercutting tool, allowing direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled starting hole. This end mill is intended for use in small-part machining, mold making, die work, and prototype fabrication where close tolerances and fine feature resolution are required. The 3/16 inch length of cut and 1/8 inch shank diameter make it compatible with standard collet systems found on vertical machining centers and CNC routers. The regular length configuration suits most benchtop and full-size CNC setups where a compact tool profile is preferred to minimize deflection at small diameters.

This end mill should be installed and removed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's spindle and collet procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and all energy is locked out before changing tooling. Use a properly sized collet in good condition to avoid runout, which is especially critical at 1/16 inch diameter where deflection and tool breakage risk are elevated. Confirm spindle speed and feed rate settings are appropriate for the workpiece material and tool diameter before initiating the cut.
