The HERTEL 74130295 is a cobalt screw machine length drill bit designed for high-speed drilling in hard and abrasive materials. With a 9/32 inch (0.2812 inch) diameter and a 135-degree split point, it starts on contact without a center punch and reduces walking on curved or uneven surfaces. The split point geometry also lowers thrust and heat buildup during drilling. The overall length is 2-11/16 inches with a 1-1/2 inch flute length, making it well-suited for close-quarters drilling in production and maintenance environments. A straight cylindrical shank provides secure chuck engagement. This bit is used by machinists, maintenance technicians, and industrial tradespeople working with stainless steel, high-nickel alloys, and other tough materials that wear out standard HSS tooling quickly.
