The HERTEL 7000492 is a right-hand indexable boring bar designed for precision internal turning and boring operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Built from solid carbide, this toolholder accepts CP.. 32.5 series inserts secured by a screw-clamp holding method. It features a 1-inch shank diameter and a 12-inch overall length, making it well suited for reaching deep bore applications. Through-coolant capability is built in via a 0.312-inch coolant hole, delivering cutting fluid directly to the tool tip for improved chip evacuation and thermal control in demanding materials.
