Built from cobalt high-speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, it delivers extended tool life in hard and abrasive materials where standard HSS bits wear quickly. The 135-degree split point reduces walking and lowers entry force, enabling accurate starts without a center punch. At 1-15/16 inches overall length, the stub-length body provides added rigidity and reduces deflection in short-reach drilling setups.
