The HERTEL 62850144 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in ferrous and non-ferrous machining applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and finished with a TiAlN coating, this end mill handles heat and wear better than standard HSS tooling. The 3/8 inch diameter, 4-flute configuration with a fine pitch spiral geometry breaks chips efficiently and reduces chatter during heavy cuts. With a 1.5 inch length of cut and 3.25 inch overall length, it fits standard toolholders used in vertical and horizontal milling operations. Installed by machinists and toolroom technicians on CNC mills and manual machines alike.

This end mill is suited for roughing passes on steel, stainless, cast iron, and high-temp alloys in both job shop and production environments.
