The HERTEL 44839033 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in metalworking and machining applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a TiN (titanium nitride) coating, it delivers heat resistance and edge durability during heavy chip-load cuts. The mill measures 9/16 inch (0.5625 inch) in diameter with a 1/2 inch shank, a 1-3/8 inch length of cut, and a 3-3/8 inch overall length. With 4 flutes in a coarse pitch configuration, this tool is suited for roughing passes where fast stock removal takes priority over surface finish. Cutting direction and flute direction are both right-hand.

This end mill is used in milling operations on ferrous and non-ferrous metals where high heat generation and tough alloys demand a cobalt substrate over standard HSS.
