The HERTEL 42003 is a cobalt jobber-length drill bit designed for demanding metal drilling applications in trade and industrial environments. It measures 19/64 inch (0.2969 inch decimal) in diameter with an overall length of 4-3/8 inches and a flute length of 3-1/16 inches. The 135-degree split point reduces walking on contact and lowers thrust requirements when starting a hole in hard or work-hardened materials. An oxide and gold coating provides added surface hardness and lubricity. This bit is installed and used by machinists, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and electricians working with ferrous metals, stainless steel, and other hard alloys.
