The HERTEL 41120874 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and coated with TiCN for improved surface hardness and wear resistance, this tool handles ferrous and non-ferrous metals where standard HSS tooling falls short. It features a 1 inch cutting diameter, 5-flute coarse-pitch geometry, and a 1 inch length of cut with a 3.5 inch overall length. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction suit conventional vertical and horizontal milling machines. Licensed machinists and tool-and-die shops are the primary users.

This roughing end mill is suited for heavy stock removal passes on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and similar materials.
