The HERTEL 41120643 is a single-end cobalt roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and coated with TiCN, it handles tough ferrous and non-ferrous metals with reduced heat buildup and extended tool life. The 4-flute, coarse-pitch geometry produces rapid stock removal while maintaining edge integrity. At 5/8 inch in diameter with a 1-5/8 inch length of cut and 3-3/4 inch overall length, it fits standard vertical mills, CNC machining centers, and knee mills. Centercutting capability allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. Licensed machinists, tool-and-die makers, and CNC operators are the primary users.

This end mill is suited for roughing passes on steel, stainless, cast iron, and similar hard materials in both job shop and production environments.
