The HERTEL 41120445 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a bright, uncoated finish, it delivers toughness and heat resistance under heavy chip loads. The 3/4-inch diameter cutter runs 4 flutes in a right-hand cutting, right-hand flute configuration with a 1.625-inch length of cut and a 3.75-inch overall length. The center-cutting geometry allows plunge entry as well as conventional side milling. Licensed machinists and tool-and-die technicians install this type of end mill on manual knee mills and CNC machining centers for roughing passes on steel, stainless, and high-temp alloys.
