The HERTEL 30011100 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit boards and similar fine-tolerance applications. It carries a wire gauge size of 34, which corresponds to a decimal diameter of 0.1110 inches (2.82 mm). The 118-degree drill point angle and fast spiral flute geometry promote clean entry and efficient chip evacuation. A tapered web configuration adds rigidity at the cutting tip. The bright polished finish reduces friction during operation. This bit is installed by electronics assembly technicians, PCB fabricators, and precision machinists working in production or repair environments.
This drill bit is suited for drilling cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel in addition to its primary circuit board application. With a flute length of 0.625 inches (15.88 mm) and an overall length of 1.5 inches (38.10 mm), it fits standard drill press and CNC spindle chucks used in benchtop and automated PCB drilling setups. The heavy-duty grade construction supports repeated use in production environments where consistent hole quality is required. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for use with conventional drill presses and CNC equipment.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use drill bit for standard drill press chucks, CNC drilling spindles, and handheld precision drill equipment accepting a 0.1110-inch (2.82 mm) shank diameter.
This bit is installed by precision machinists, PCB technicians, or qualified tradespeople using compatible drill equipment. Ensure the drill chuck or collet is fully tightened and the workpiece is firmly secured before operation. Use appropriate cutting speeds for the material being drilled — solid carbide bits are sensitive to lateral stress and should not be used for side-cutting or prying. Inspect the cutting tip for chipping before each use, as carbide can fracture if dropped or mishandled.
