The HERTEL 30001350 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and light-gauge material applications. Built to wire gauge size 80, it measures 0.0135 inches (0.34 mm) in diameter with a matching 0.34 mm shank. The 118-degree drill point and fast spiral flute geometry promote clean entry and efficient chip evacuation at high spindle speeds. The bright polished finish reduces friction and heat buildup. A tapered web configuration adds strength at the cutting tip. This bit is suited for use by machinists, PCB technicians, and precision fabricators working with carbide-compatible spindles.
This drill bit is intended for drilling operations in printed circuit board production and precision machining of cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel. The heavy-duty grade solid carbide construction handles demanding feed rates in production environments. With a flute length of 0.25 inches (6.35 mm) and an overall length of 1.5 inches (38.10 mm), it fits standard CNC drill spindles and precision hand-held drill presses configured for small-diameter tooling. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional spindle rotation setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or production tooling option for CNC and precision drill presses accepting 0.34 mm shank diameter circuit board drill bits with right-hand cutting direction.
Installation and tool changes should be performed with the spindle fully powered down and locked out. Solid carbide bits at this diameter are brittle and require a properly aligned collet or chuck rated for small-diameter tooling to avoid tip breakage. Verify spindle runout is within tolerance before use, as even minor misalignment at this scale can cause premature failure. Consult machine manufacturer feed and speed guidelines for solid carbide tooling in the applicable workpiece material.
