The HERTEL 300-006006 is a solid carbide combo drill countersink designed to drill and countersink in a single pass. It carries a trade size of 6 with a 0.5 inch body diameter and a 7/32 inch drill point diameter. The 118-degree drill point angle and 82-degree included angle produce clean, accurate countersinks suited to precision fabrication and production drilling. The bright polished finish reduces friction and aids chip evacuation. At 6 inches overall length, this is classified as a long-length tool. Right-hand cutting direction and a plain cutting edge style make it compatible with standard drill presses, CNC machining centers, and hand-held power tools used by machinists and tool-and-die professionals.
This combo drill countersink is intended for countersinking applications across metalworking and industrial fabrication environments. The double-end configuration extends tool life by providing two usable cutting ends. Solid carbide construction makes it appropriate for hard materials, high-speed production runs, and applications where dimensional accuracy is critical. It is well suited for aerospace-adjacent and general-purpose machining where a non-tapered, non-insertable, plain cutting edge profile is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use tool for standard drill press chucks, CNC spindles, and hand-held power tools accepting a 0.5 inch body diameter shank in right-hand cutting configurations.
Installation and use of this tool should be performed by qualified machinists or trained trade professionals. Ensure the spindle or chuck is fully powered down and at a complete stop before inserting or changing the tool. Verify that the chuck or collet is rated for the 0.5 inch body diameter before use. Follow applicable shop safety standards and machine manufacturer guidelines for speed and feed settings appropriate to solid carbide tooling.
