The HERTEL 2500507 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with TiCN, it delivers elevated hardness and wear resistance for high-speed roughing passes. The chipbreaker geometry along the flute edges breaks chips into smaller segments, reducing cutting forces and heat buildup during heavy cuts. At 3/8 inches in diameter with a 7/8-inch length of cut and 2-1/2-inch overall length, this tool fits standard milling chucks and collets used on vertical and horizontal machining centers.
