The HERTEL 12467439 is a 2-flute, solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking and machining applications. Built from micrograin carbide, it delivers consistent edge retention and dimensional accuracy on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The tool features a 30-degree right-hand spiral flute geometry and a bright, uncoated finish. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry in addition to peripheral and slot milling. With a 0.375-inch diameter, 1-inch length of cut, and 0.375-inch straight shank, it fits standard toolholders used across CNC machining centers and manual mills. Machinists and toolroom operators in job shops and production environments are the primary installers.

This end mill is suited for slotting, profiling, and pocketing operations in light to medium-duty cuts. The single-end configuration and 2.5-inch overall length make it appropriate for work-envelope-constrained setups. The right-hand cut direction and standard spiral flute design are compatible with conventional CNC vertical machining centers, knee mills, and tool and cutter grinders for regrinding. It is not configured for coolant-through delivery or extended-reach applications.

Installation Notes
