The HERTEL 04138244 is a cobalt jobber-length drill bit designed for heavy-duty holemaking in ferrous and hard materials. Built from cobalt high-speed steel with an oxide and TiN coating, it resists heat and wear in demanding drilling applications. The 135-degree split point reduces walking and decreases the thrust force needed to start a hole, making it well suited for production drilling and maintenance work. The web-thinned, tapered web construction improves chip evacuation and cutting efficiency. At 9/64 inch (0.1406 inch decimal) diameter, it covers a common size range used across mechanical, structural, and fabrication trades.

This drill bit fits standard holemaking applications in metal fabrication shops, HVAC ductwork and equipment installation, plumbing rough-in, and general mechanical contracting.
