The HENRY CO HE555042 is an ultra-grade, fibered aluminum roof coating formulated for reflective protection on low-slope and flat roofing surfaces. The solvent-based, asbestos-free formula delivers a bright silver finish that reflects solar energy, reducing interior temperatures by up to 20 degrees F compared to uncoated surfaces. The product ships in a 1-gallon container with a package quantity of 4 units per case. Its fiber-reinforced body is engineered to be easier to stir than standard aluminum roof coatings, reducing prep time on the job. Licensed roofing contractors and building maintenance professionals are the primary installers for this product type.
This coating is well suited for agricultural buildings, metal roofs, and built-up roofing systems where solar heat gain is a concern. The energy saver formula is intended for use in residential and commercial low-slope applications where a reflective, solvent-based topcoat is specified. Note: This product is not approved for sale or use in Southern California due to regional VOC regulations. Confirm local VOC compliance requirements before ordering for any California project outside that restriction area.
Designed as an OEM-grade reflective coating for low-slope and flat roofing systems, including metal, built-up, and modified bitumen roof decks. Not for sale in Southern California.
Application is typically performed by licensed roofing contractors or experienced building maintenance personnel. The roof surface must be clean, dry, and free of loose debris, rust, and standing water before coating is applied. Stir the product thoroughly before and during application; use appropriate solvent-resistant tools and PPE as required by local safety regulations. Follow all applicable building codes and manufacturer surface preparation guidelines to ensure proper adhesion and coating longevity.
