The HELLERMANNTYTON RJ45FC6-YEL is a Cat6 modular keystone jack designed for structured cabling installations in commercial and residential environments. This single-port insert terminates Cat6 twisted-pair cable and snaps into standard keystone wall plates, patch panels, and surface-mount boxes. The yellow color coding supports organized, color-differentiated network infrastructure. Licensed electricians and low-voltage data cabling technicians are the primary installers of this component. It delivers reliable Cat6 performance for Gigabit Ethernet and high-speed data networks.
This keystone jack is suited for horizontal cable terminations in office buildings, schools, data centers, and residential structured wiring systems. It fits standard 110-style keystone cutouts found in the vast majority of wall plates and patch panels on the market. The yellow housing makes it easy to identify and segregate network segments, VLANs, or tenant circuits at a glance during installation and ongoing maintenance.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit component for Cat6 structured cabling systems using keystone-style wall plates, modular patch panels, and surface-mount enclosures with standard keystone cutouts.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or electrician in accordance with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. De-energize any active network equipment connected to the termination point before work begins. A 110-style punch-down tool is the standard instrument for terminating conductors at the jack. Avoid untwisting conductors more than necessary at the termination point to maintain Cat6 signal integrity.
