The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 86769 is a 5-flute, solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for demanding material removal in stainless steel, high-temperature alloys, and hardened steel. It carries a 3/8 inch mill diameter with a 0.50 mm (0.0200 inch) corner radius and a 1/2 inch length of cut. The Tplus PVD coating reduces heat buildup and extends tool life in abrasive and work-hardening materials. At 4 inches overall length with a 1-5/8 inch reach, this single-end, centercutting tool handles both roughing and finishing passes in one setup. The variable pitch geometry helps break up harmonics and reduce chatter at higher feed rates.

The 86769 is suited for aerospace, medical, and general precision machining shops running stainless steels, nickel-based superalloys, and hardened steels in the 45-65 HRC range.
