The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 86106 is a 3-flute solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in both roughing and finishing operations. It features a 3/16-inch diameter, a 3/4-inch length of cut, and a 0.020-inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life on contoured surfaces. The 40-degree high helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. With a variable pitch design and right-hand flute direction, it minimizes chatter and vibration during aggressive passes. This end mill is centercutting, allowing direct plunge entry into the workpiece without a pre-drilled hole.

The 86106 is optimized for aluminum and non-ferrous metals as its primary workpiece material, with secondary capability in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, high-temperature alloys, and hard materials. Its uncoated bright finish makes it well-suited for aluminum applications where coating adhesion to the workpiece can be a concern.
