The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 83754 is a solid carbide drill mill designed for combination drilling, chamfering, and end milling operations in a single tool. Built with a 90-degree point angle and four right-hand flutes, it handles spot drilling, countersinking, and profiling without a tool change. The 1/4 inch mill diameter and matching 1/4 inch shank make it compatible with standard collet systems. A Tplus coating reduces friction and extends tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. At 2.5 inches overall length with a 3/4 inch length of cut, it fits most standard milling setups and machining centers.
This drill mill is suited for job shops, production machining environments, and toolroom applications where multi-function capability reduces cycle time. It performs well in light to medium-duty milling, drilling, and chamfering on a wide range of workpiece materials. Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an e-stop or powered-down state before changing tooling. Secure the shank in a clean, properly sized collet or end mill holder and torque the retention nut to the holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
