The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 83710 is a single-end, square-profile solid carbide end mill engineered for cutting aluminum and non-ferrous materials. It features a 3-flute design with a 45-degree helix angle, a reduced-neck geometry for extended reach, and a ZrN (Zplus) coating optimized for non-ferrous applications. The mill diameter is 0.1875 inches, the length of cut is 0.2188 inches, and the overall length is 3.0000 inches. The reduced neck and extended reach design allows access to deeper features without sacrificing rigidity. This tool is installed and used by machinists and CNC operators in job shops, production facilities, and aerospace or fabrication environments.
This end mill is intended for use in aluminum, brass, copper, and other non-ferrous workpiece materials. The 45-degree helix promotes efficient chip evacuation, reducing built-up edge and heat generation common in aluminum machining. The straight cylindrical shank measures 0.1875 inches in diameter, compatible with standard collet chucks and end mill holders.
