The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 81715 is a 5-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It features a 1/2-inch mill diameter with a 2.5-inch length of cut and a 5-inch overall length. The APLUS coating improves wear resistance and surface finish during extended cutting operations. A variable index flute geometry reduces harmonic vibration, enabling higher feed rates and better tool life in demanding production environments. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists, tool-and-die makers, and CNC programmers working with vertical or horizontal machining centers.
