The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 59955 is a 7-flute corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining environments. Built from solid carbide and coated with a proprietary Tplus PVD coating, it handles roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. The 0.0300-inch corner radius reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge, extending tool life in abrasive and hard materials. With a 0.5000-inch mill diameter, a 0.6250-inch length of cut, and a 2.5000-inch overall length, this stub-length tool offers rigidity for aggressive cutting strategies. Variable pitch geometry suppresses chatter across a wide range of cutting parameters.

This end mill is engineered for primary use in stainless steel, high-temperature alloys, and hardened steel, with secondary suitability in steel and cast iron. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC setup technician. Seat the straight-cylindrical shank fully into a high-precision toolholder and torque the retention mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specification before use. Verify runout does not exceed the 0.0005-inch TIR maximum using a dial indicator before cutting. This tool is not center-cutting and should not be used for plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole or ramping strategy.
