The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 59933 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for demanding material removal in stainless steel, high-temperature alloys, and hardened steel. It features a 0.5000 inch mill diameter with a 0.0600 inch corner radius, six flutes, and a 1.25 inch length of cut. The variable pitch geometry reduces harmonic vibration during aggressive passes. A Tplus PVD coating extends tool life in abrasive and heat-generating applications. This single-end, centercutting tool is sized for use with high-precision toolholders and is suited for both roughing and finishing operations on CNC machining centers.
The 59933 belongs to the HEV-6 series, which is designed for high-efficiency milling in tough workpiece materials. It is well suited for aerospace, medical, and die-mold applications where stainless steel, Inconel, titanium alloys, and hardened steels are common. The straight-cylindrical shank and right-hand cutting direction make it compatible with standard collet chucks, shrink-fit holders, and hydraulic chucks. Machinists running high-speed or trochoidal milling strategies will find the variable pitch and solid carbide construction appropriate for this class of work.
Designed for use with high-precision toolholders including collet chucks, shrink-fit holders, and hydraulic chucks. Suitable for CNC machining centers running stainless steel, high-temperature alloys, hardened steel, and non-ferrous metals.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the 0.5000 inch straight-cylindrical shank to the full recommended gauge length in the toolholder to minimize runout; maximum TIR for this tool is 0.0005 inches. Verify toolholder clamping torque according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications before initiating any cut.
