The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 48426 is a 3-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for high-efficiency material removal in aluminum and non-ferrous metals. It features a 1/2-inch mill diameter, a 1-5/8-inch length of cut, and a 40-degree helix angle that promotes chip evacuation and reduces built-up edge on soft, gummy materials. The ZrN (Zplus) coating lowers friction and improves tool life in aluminum applications. Variable index geometry minimizes chatter and vibration during aggressive passes.
