It carries a 3/8 inch mill diameter, a 1-1/4 inch length of cut, and a 0.5 mm (0.0200 inch) corner radius. The tool is coated with APLUS, a PVD-applied proprietary coating that improves wear resistance and extends tool life in ferrous and hard materials. Variable pitch fluting reduces harmonic chatter during aggressive cuts. The 3 inch overall length and straight-cylindrical 3/8 inch shank fit standard precision toolholders. A licensed machinist or CNC tooling technician installs and qualifies this tool for production or job-shop milling operations.
