The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 34137 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in steel, cast iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium. It features a 1/4 inch diameter, a 3/4 inch length of cut, and a 0.5 mm (0.020 inch) corner radius that reduces edge chipping and extends tool life in demanding applications. The 5-flute, variable-pitch helical geometry balances chip evacuation with surface finish quality. An APLUS PVD coating provides thermal resistance and lubricity for both roughing and finishing passes. Machinists and CNC operators in job shops and production environments are the primary users of this tool.

Installation Notes

Install this end mill in a clean, properly sized collet or high-precision toolholder and torque the retention nut to the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout does not exceed the 0.0005 inch TIR maximum before cutting. Always set spindle speed and feed rate per the material and coating guidelines for APLUS-coated carbide tooling. Inspect the cutting edges for wear or chipping before each use and replace the tool when corner radius integrity is compromised.
