It features a 1/4 inch diameter, a 3/4 inch length of cut, and a 0.50 mm (0.0200 inch) corner radius that reduces edge chipping and extends tool life on demanding materials. The 4-flute, single-end configuration supports both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. An APLUS PVD coating reduces friction and heat buildup at the cutting edge. Variable pitch geometry helps suppress chatter during aggressive cuts. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in job shop or production environments are the primary users of this tool.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Secure the shank in a high-precision toolholder to the toolholder manufacturer's specified runout requirement - the maximum TIR for this tool is 0.0005 inches. Verify spindle direction is set to right-hand rotation before starting the cut. Inspect the cutting edge and coating condition before each use; do not run a chipped or worn tool.
