The HELICAL SOLUTIONS 06015 is a solid carbide chamfer mill designed for deburring, chamfering, and edge-breaking operations on a wide range of workpiece materials. With a 1/8 inch cutter head diameter and a 90-degree included angle, this tool produces clean, consistent chamfers in a single pass. The straight-flute, two-flute geometry supports right-hand cutting with efficient chip evacuation. An uncoated bright finish makes it straightforward to inspect for wear. At 2 inches overall length with a 1/8 inch shank diameter, it fits standard collet and end mill holders used on CNC machining centers and manual mills alike. Machinists and tool and die shops rely on this style of chamfer mill for precision edge prep on aluminum, steel, and plastics.
This chamfer mill is suited for light-duty chamfering and countersinking operations in both prototype and production environments. The 1/16 inch length of cut keeps the tool rigid and minimizes deflection during short-reach deburring tasks. Single-end configuration means the full reach of the 2-inch overall length is available for clearance in tight fixture setups. CNC machinists, moldmakers, and job shop operators working on small-diameter features will find this tool appropriate for finish chamfering on through-holes, edges, and shallow countersinks.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide chamfer mill for use in standard 1/8 inch collet chucks and end mill holders on CNC machining centers, manual knee mills, and drill presses equipped with appropriate collet systems.
This tool is installed by machinists in standard collet or end mill holder setups — ensure the shank is fully seated and the collet nut is torqued per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Power down and lock out the spindle before installing or removing any cutting tool. Use appropriate cutting fluid or dry-cutting conditions per the workpiece material and shop practice. Inspect the cutting edges before each use; carbide is brittle and can chip if dropped or improperly stored.
