Installation Notes

Installation requires the correct HELI-COIL STI tap to prepare the parent hole before the insert is driven. After the insert is fully seated, break off the installation tang using a tang break-off tool or sharp punch at the notch at the bottom of the insert. Do not attempt to install with a standard tap or driver, as this will damage the coil and the parent thread.
