The HELI-COIL 5404-10 is a complete threaded insert repair kit designed to restore damaged or stripped M10x1 metric fine threads in metal components. The kit provides everything needed to bring a worn threaded bore back to full holding strength without replacing the parent part. It includes a drill, tap, installation tool, tang removal tool, and 18 wire thread inserts at 15 millimeters insert length. Machinists, maintenance technicians, and field service professionals use this kit on engines, machinery housings, and structural assemblies where thread integrity is critical.

This kit is suited for metric fine thread repair applications in both shop and field environments. Installation Notes
