The Heil EVDWX30M14A is a cased, vertical V-coil evaporator coil designed for use with R-410A refrigerant systems. Evaporator coils absorb heat from indoor air, transferring it to the refrigerant circuit as part of a split-system or packaged air conditioning or heat pump installation. The cased design protects coil fins and simplifies installation in vertical air handler or furnace configurations. This coil is sized in the 30,000 to 14-inch cabinet class, making it a standard service replacement or new-installation component for residential cooling systems. Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians.
The EVDWX30M14A is suited for vertical upflow or downflow residential HVAC applications where a cased V-coil configuration is required. The V-coil geometry maximizes coil surface area within the cabinet footprint, supporting efficient heat exchange. This coil is matched with R-410A-compatible condensing units and air handlers, making it appropriate for current-generation residential split systems. It is a service replacement coil intended for use in standard residential duct configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement cased vertical evaporator coil for residential R-410A split-system air conditioning and heat pump installations requiring a V-coil configuration in the 30-series cabinet class.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the manufacturer's installation instructions. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power and recover refrigerant from the system before removing or installing the coil. Ensure the refrigerant line connections are properly brazed and leak-tested before recharging the system. Do not exceed the system's rated refrigerant charge as specified on the outdoor unit nameplate.
