It is especially useful for working with dissimilar metals like pot metal. This flux is chloride-free and organic-based, presenting a golden color. Its effective working range is between three hundred fifty to five hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit (one hundred seventy-seven to two hundred eighty-eight degrees Celsius). The residue left by this flux is conductive and requires removal using hot water or alcohol.
