Product Description

The HEARTHRITE HRW30MN is a 30,000 BTU/h infrared radiant vent-free gas heater designed for natural gas service. It operates at 99.9% thermal efficiency and requires no flue or exhaust venting, making it a practical supplemental or primary heat source in spaces where duct or chimney access is unavailable. The unit uses a standing pilot ignition with push-button startup and manual top-mounted controls. An Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) monitors ambient oxygen levels and shuts the heater down automatically before conditions become unsafe. Licensed gas technicians and qualified HVAC service contractors are the intended installers for this unit.

The HRW30MN is intended for residential or light commercial supplemental heating applications where natural gas is available and local codes permit vent-free appliances. It is rated for floor or wall mounting, with a wall-mount kit included and an optional floor stand available separately. An optional blower can also be added to improve heat distribution. The unit ships in a white finish with manual controls. A thermostatically controlled variant, the HRW30TN, is available for installations requiring automatic temperature regulation. This unit is not approved for sale or installation in the state of California.

Installation Notes
