The HEARTHRITE HRW25TL is a 25,000 BTU/h vent-free infrared radiant gas heater designed for liquid propane (LP) operation. It delivers radiant heat at 99.9% efficiency and continues to operate during power outages, making it a reliable supplemental or primary heat source in residential and light commercial spaces. The unit features thermostatic controls and a standing pilot with push-button piezo ignition. A factory-installed Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) automatically shuts down the heater if ambient oxygen levels fall below a safe threshold. Every unit is test-fired at the factory before shipment. Professional installation by a certified gas technician is required.
The HRW25TL is suited for residential rooms, garages, workshops, cabins, and similar spaces where vent-free heating is permitted by local code. It is available for wall mount as standard, with an optional floor stand kit for flexible placement. The unit ships in a white finish and is available in LP only. A manual-control variant (HRW25ML) is also available for applications where thermostatic control is not required. This product cannot be shipped to or installed in California. LP installations must use a 100 lb or larger propane tank with an external regulator providing 11 to 14 inches water column output.
Designed for liquid propane fuel supply systems using a 100 lb or larger tank with an external regulator set to an output of 11 to 14 inches water column. A manual-control version of this heater is available under part number HRW25ML.
Installation must be performed by a licensed or certified gas technician in accordance with local codes and applicable gas appliance standards. Shut off the LP supply at the tank valve before making any gas connections and verify all fittings for leaks after installation. Maintain required clearances: 36 inches to ceiling above the unit, 3 inches from floor below, and 8 inches from any side wall. Repairs must be performed by a qualified service contractor — do not attempt field repair of the ODS or gas valve assembly.
