Product Description

The HEARTHRITE HRW25ML is a 25,000 BTU/h vent-free infrared and radiant gas heater designed for liquid propane (LP) operation. It delivers supplemental or primary space heating without any flue or venting requirement, making it practical for rooms where duct or venting work is not feasible. The unit operates at 99.9% thermal efficiency, and its standing pilot ignition with push-button piezo start keeps it fully functional during power outages. A factory-installed Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) automatically shuts the unit off before oxygen levels drop to an unsafe concentration. Installation and service must be performed by a certified gas technician.

The HRW25ML is suited for residential and light-commercial applications where supplemental zone heating is needed without electrical dependency. It ships with a wall-mount kit included; an optional floor stand is available separately. The unit is available in a white finish and is offered in LP only. A thermostatic-control version is available under model HRW25TL. An optional blower can be added for improved air circulation. LP installations require a 100-pound or larger propane tank and an external regulator providing an output of 11 to 14 inches water column (w.c.). This product cannot be shipped to the state of California.

Installation Notes

The inlet gas connection requires a 3/8-inch line; verify regulator output pressure is within the 11 to 14 inches w.c. required range before operation. Maintain required clearances: 36 inches to ceiling, 3 inches to floor, and 8 inches to side walls. Repairs must be performed by a qualified service contractor.
