The HEARTHRITE HRW060MN is a 6000 BTU/h vent-free infrared radiant gas heater designed for natural gas service in residential and light-commercial supplemental heating applications. Operating at 99.9% AFUE efficiency, the unit produces radiant heat without requiring electrical power, making it reliable during outages. Ignition is handled by a standing pilot with push-button activation. A factory-tested Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) automatically shuts the heater down before ambient oxygen reaches an unsafe level. The unit ships with a wall kit included, and an optional floor stand kit is available for alternative placement. Installation must be performed by a certified gas technician.
The HRW060MN is suited for supplemental zone heating in small to medium rooms where a permanent vented appliance is not practical or permitted. It mounts to a wall or, with the optional floor stand, sits freestanding. Because the heater is vent-free, no flue pipe or chimney connection is required, simplifying rough-in. The natural gas configuration operates on a standard residential gas supply. A liquid propane version, model HRW060ML, is also available. Note: vent-free products cannot be shipped to the state of California.
Designed as a vent-free natural gas infrared radiant wall heater for residential supplemental heating. A liquid propane variant (HRW060ML) is available separately. Not approved for installation or sale in California.
Installation must be performed by a certified gas technician in compliance with all applicable local codes. Before servicing or connecting gas supply, shut off the gas at the main valve and verify the line is fully depressurized. Maintain required clearances: 36 inches to ceiling above, 3 inches to floor below, and 8 inches to any side wall. The 3/8 inch gas connection requires a manifold pressure of 6.0 inches w.c. and an inlet gas pressure between 7.0 and 10.5 inches w.c.; all gas pressure verification and adjustment must be performed by a qualified service contractor.
