The HEARTHRITE HBW30TN is a vent-free blue flame wall or floor-mount gas heater rated at 30,000 BTU/h for natural gas service. Blue flame technology heats the surrounding air directly, allowing warm air to rise and circulate naturally throughout the space without requiring ductwork or electrical power to operate. The unit runs at 99.9% AFUE efficiency and features a standing pilot with pushbutton piezo ignition. A built-in Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) automatically shuts the heater off if oxygen levels drop to an unsafe threshold. Licensed gas technicians and HVAC service professionals are the intended installers for this unit.
The HBW30TN is suited for residential supplemental or zone heating applications where vent pipe routing is not practical or desired. It mounts directly to a wall using the included wall kit or can be configured for floor installation with an optional floor stand kit sold separately. An optional blower accessory is also available to improve air distribution. The unit is finished in white and controlled by an integrated thermostat. A liquid propane variant, the HBW30TL, is available for installations where natural gas service is not present. This product cannot be shipped to the state of California.
Designed for natural gas supply systems. A liquid propane version (HBW30TL) is available separately. Compatible with optional HEARTHRITE floor stand kit and optional blower accessory. Not approved for installation or sale in California.
Installation must be performed by a licensed gas technician in accordance with local codes and the applicable provisions of the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC). Shut off the gas supply at the service valve and verify zero pressure before making any gas connections. The gas connection is 3/8 inch; inlet gas pressure must be between 6.0 and 10.5 inches water column, with a manifold pressure of 4.0 inches water column. Observe required clearances: 36 inches to the ceiling above, 3 inches to the floor below, and 8 inches to any side wall. All service and repairs must be completed by a qualified service contractor.
