The HEARTHRITE HBW10TL is a vent-free blue flame gas heater rated at 10,000 BTU/h and fueled by liquid propane (LP). Blue flame technology heats the surrounding air directly, allowing natural convection to circulate warmth throughout the space without forced airflow. Because it operates without a flue or exhaust vent, the HBW10TL runs at 99.9% efficiency and continues to function during power outages. The unit includes a thermostatic control for automatic temperature regulation and a push-button igniter for the standing pilot. An Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) continuously monitors ambient oxygen levels and shuts the heater down automatically before oxygen drops to an unsafe concentration. Licensed gas technicians install this heater in residential and light-commercial supplemental heating applications.
The HBW10TL is designed for floor or wall mounting and ships with a wall kit included. An optional floor stand kit is available separately. It is suited for supplemental heating in spaces such as garages, workshops, cabins, and additions where ducted HVAC is unavailable or impractical. LP models require a 100-pound or larger propane tank and an external regulator with an output of 11 to 14 inches water column (w.c.). This model is LP-only; a natural gas version is available under part number HBW10TN. This product cannot be shipped to the state of California.
The HBW10TL is a liquid propane vent-free blue flame heater. A natural gas variant, the HBW10TN, is also available. LP installations require a 100-pound or larger tank and an external regulator providing 11 to 14 inches w.c. output pressure.
Professional installation by a licensed gas technician is required. Shut off the LP supply at the tank valve before making any gas connections and verify all fittings are leak-free before lighting. Observe required clearances: 36 inches to ceiling, 3 inches to floor, and 8 inches to side walls. All work must comply with local building codes and applicable gas codes; repairs must be performed by a qualified service contractor.
