Hayward SX244GS is a top diffuser assembly for Hayward ProSeries top-mount sand filters. The molded plastic diffuser mounts to the top of the internal standpipe to evenly distribute incoming water over the sand bed, reducing channeling and improving filtration efficiency. This OEM replacement part resists corrosion and pool chemicals and is a mechanical-only plumbing component with no electrical requirements.
