The HARVEY TOOL ACD0625-C3 is a solid carbide micro drill bit engineered for high-performance drilling in demanding precision machining applications. With a 1/16 inch (0.0625 inch) diameter and a 140-degree split point, it provides aggressive cutting action and accurate hole entry with minimal walking. The AlTiN coating increases surface hardness and thermal resistance, extending tool life in harder workpiece materials. Through-coolant capability channels fluid directly to the cutting edge, improving chip evacuation and heat management in deep-hole drilling operations. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling professionals are the primary users of this tool.
This micro drill bit is suited for deep-hole drilling in ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, hardened steels, stainless, titanium, and similar difficult-to-machine materials. The 3.00 mm shank diameter and h6 diameter tolerance make it compatible with high-precision collet systems. With a 22.00 mm flute length and 63.00 mm overall length, it is designed for applications requiring extended reach at small diameters. Right-hand spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip removal during through-hole and blind-hole operations in CNC milling and drilling centers.

Installation and setup should be performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Ensure the machine spindle and coolant-through system are fully powered down and depressurized before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully and evenly in a precision collet to the manufacturer-specified engagement depth to prevent runout and tool pullout during operation. Verify coolant-through flow and pressure are within the machine and tooling specifications before beginning the cut.
