With a 0.025-inch cutting diameter and a 1.9 mm (0.075-inch) length of cut, this tool is built for micro-machining work where dimensional accuracy is critical. The four-flute geometry provides a balance of chip evacuation and surface finish quality. A 30-degree helix angle promotes smooth cutting action and reduces deflection on delicate cuts. The bright, uncoated finish makes it well suited for non-ferrous metals, plastics, and other materials where coating adhesion is not required. Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician familiar with CNC tooling setup. Seat the 0.125-inch shank fully into the collet and torque the collet nut per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Due to the small diameter, minimize stick-out and verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut to reduce the risk of tool breakage.
