The HARVEY TOOL 966710-C3 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. With a 0.1406-inch cutting diameter, a 0.01-inch corner radius, and an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating, this tool delivers wear resistance and thermal stability when cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. The four-flute, right-hand helical design with a 30-degree helix angle supports both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. It is installed and run by machinists and CNC operators working with precision toolholders in machine shop and production environments.
This end mill is suited for milling operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials in CNC machining centers and manual mills. The stub and standard miniature end mill series is built for tight-tolerance work where small cutter diameters and controlled corner radii are required. The single-end configuration, straight-cylindrical shank, and centercutting geometry make it appropriate for slotting, profiling, and contouring in close-quarters features. The 0.1875-inch shank diameter accepts standard miniature toolholders.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator familiar with toolholder runout and cutter projection requirements. Set appropriate spindle speed and feed rate for the workpiece material and cutter diameter before engaging the cut. Inspect the cutting edges and corner radius for chips or wear before each use, particularly in high-cycle production runs.
