The HARVEY TOOL 964393-C3 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision finishing operations in demanding machining environments. Built as a single-end, right-hand cutting tool with a 0.093 inch mill diameter and a 0.01 inch corner radius, it produces controlled edge breaks and smooth contoured surfaces in tight geometries. The long flute design extends the length of cut to 0.625 inches while maintaining a compact 2.5 inch overall length. An AlTiN PVD coating improves heat resistance and tool life when cutting ferrous materials. With 4 helical flutes and a normal pitch, this tool is suited for finishing passes where surface finish and dimensional accuracy matter.
This end mill is used in CNC machining centers and manual mills for finishing operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composite materials. The 1/8 inch straight cylindrical shank seats in standard collets and toolholders. The long flute configuration is especially useful in pocketing, slotting, and profiling where depth of cut exceeds what a stub-length tool can reach. It fits the Miniature End Mills series and is intended for applications requiring small-diameter, close-tolerance cutting.
Designed for use with standard toolholders and collets accepting a 1/8 inch straight cylindrical shank. Compatible workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and composites per material codes P, M, K, N, and O.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with small-diameter carbide tooling. Ensure the toolholder collet is clean and properly torqued to the tool manufacturer specification before use. At 0.093 inch diameter, carbide is brittle - avoid side loads beyond rated chip load and do not use this tool for roughing passes. Verify spindle runout is within acceptable limits before engaging the cut, as excessive runout accelerates breakage at miniature diameters.
